Hey there! I’m Esmeralda, but many call me Esme. I am a former middle school art teacher that fell in love with CREATING 24/7.  Now, I do resin bouquet preservation full-time and I love it!

I am a peppermint mocha lover and avid traveler and I have been to 15 countries and counting. In my free time, I like to plan trips, play Stardew valley, and collect and maintain exotic plants. I like to call myself a plant taxidermist as my work title because the florals that I use for resin art are no longer living, but I love working with a variety of living plants, too!

Resin has always captured my eye because it is so unique and everlasting! I fell in love with the idea of preserving the flowers from my mother’s garden in resin, and that evolved to preserving them for special moments such as weddings and memorials as well. I wish I would’ve known about this for my wedding bouquet, so I thought to myself “Why spend so much money on GORGEOUS flowers for them to end up in the trash?” I devoted myself to preserving large-scale bouquets in resin and Emerald Schill Studio was born.
